I would like to test DaVinci Resolve but v14.3 won’t install at all on my system and warn this :

SOLVED – thank you Brent. The CUDA driver was up to date, but I was using the default OS X driver. I followed your link to the Nvidia driver and updated. The problem is gone and I now have the Nvidia driver system panel. Couldn’t find a compatible update last time I searched that would install on El Capitan. (I do use go-ogle.com but couldn’t find it in my delirium.) THANKS for the suggestion and link.

OS X El Capitan 10.11.4:
Finally, Mac users running earlier releases to OS X EL Capitan will find Security Update 2016-002 and Safari 9.1 available for OS X Mavericks and OS X Yosemite. This includes moving to OS X El Capitan (10.11.4) and the latest versions of Adobe Creative Cloud (Release 2015.2) and Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve (12.3.2), amongst other improvements.
